6. Mynelle Gardens

Well worth the $4 cover charge.
Just got back from Jackson. Drove around for several days, saw a lot. But I have to say...as a last minute thing-made an effort to find the gardens, they are beautiful!! Nice history sheet to accompany the self-guided tour. The gardens are 4-5 acres. Winding paths through different themed areas. Ponds,with fish and turtles. (I also saw a water snake and several small lizards.) Several beautiful spots for weddings...my one down comment would be as a non-native to the area, I would have appreciated names on the big, beautiful tree specimens, not all were identified. Highly recommend-a walk through the Gardens!!!
