The story of Mississippi's natural history is told with exciting, educational exhibits at this museum. The main exhibition hall features aquariums with more than 200 species of native fish, reptiles, amphibians, and aquatic invertebrates. Special displays document the ecological history of the state's rivers, lakes, streams, ponds, and marshes, along with the Mississippi sound.
