This Gothic Revival structure was home to the city's Civil War mayor, Charles Henry Manship, who was also an expert craftsman known for his faux wood graining and marbling. Examples of his work are found throughout the home that also includes antiques and period furnishings. It was one of the few residences spared destruction when Jackson was burned during the Civil War.
