8. Mississippi Governor's Mansion

This classical Greek Revival structure has been the home of Mississippi's First Family since the middle of the 19th century. With beautifully landscaped grounds, it occupies an entire city block. Elegant simplicity defines the interior with its period furnishings and decor. Restorations throughout the years went to great lengths to emulate the original workmanship.
