Try the duck and sausage pasta made with smoked duck and Italian sausage tossed in white wine and garlic butter sauce with diced tomatoes, scallions, and spices served over angel hair pasta. An innovative menu of bagel sandwich meals makes this café a lunchtime favorite. Contrary to its name, this casual café features a simple, diner-style decor and a classic Southern menu at ultra reasonable prices. Situated in the heart of Jackson, this local favorite has been a local tradition for more than 50 years. Lunch specialties include Southern-style vegetables, homemade dinner rolls, and fried chicken. The lunch line often spills out the door, so show up early. Reservations are not accepted.
