Try the duck and sausage pasta made with smoked duck and Italian sausage tossed in white wine and garlic butter sauce with diced tomatoes, scallions, and spices served over angel hair pasta. Pizzas are topped with a variety of specialty ingredients. Sample one made with smoked chicken and spinach with sun-dried tomatoes and roasted garlic.

An innovative menu of bagel sandwich meals makes this café a lunchtime favorite. Flavored bagels such as mozzarella focaccia or sun-dried tomato with freshly made cream cheeses (chive, spinach, tomato pesto or, pepper cheddar) and topped with meat, smoked salmon, and veggies make a superb sandwich. The menu also includes soups, salads, hot sandwiches, and several sides.

Situated in the heart of Jackson, this local favorite has been a local tradition for more than 50 years. Lunch specialties include Southern-style vegetables, homemade dinner rolls, and fried chicken. The lunch line often spills out the door, so show up early. Reservations are not accepted.
