The Museum of the Mountain Man traces the history of western Wyoming. There are exhibits on fur trading, exploration, and early settlement, as well as the Native Americans who first inhabited the area. This museum is also home to Wyoming's oldest historical pageant, the Green River Rendezvous, which takes place the second Saturday in July.
