11. River Runners Museum

Mad River Boat Trips' building, "The Wedge," a combination boathouse/outfitter/ museum, features some fascinating artifacts and photographs on two walls, tracing the history and excitement of white water rafting. You'll find some important items here, including Charlie, the first inflatable rubber raft (on loan from the Utah Historical Society). A great alternative if you can't fit an actual river run into your travel schedule, the Wyoming River Runners Museum captures some of the same thrill in a fraction of the time.
