AVONDALE. An eclectic part of town that boasts unique shopping, restaurants, coffeehouses and nightclubs. Truly a melting pot of society. You'll find a unique combination of people here, including locals who have lived here for generations, as well as a younger, more alternative crowd. A great place to walk around, have a cup of coffee, or find some vintage clothing.

DOWNTOWN. A focal point of downtown Jacksonville. Here you can take in some of the best views of the city and the Saint John's River while munching on tasty eats in one of the many restaurants that dot this entertainment complex. Lots of shopping, ranging from antiques to the latest in fashions, can be found in the different stores. Live music is also available in the open court area located in the middle of the complex.

RIVERSIDE. Visitors enjoy touring this upscale Jacksonville neighborhood that showcases some of the city's finest homes, many of which are listed on the National Register. A walking tour is available through the Riverside Avondale Preservation located in this area. Many restaurants and some of the best shopping can be found here, as well.

SAN MARCO. This unique neighborhood is an interesting mixture of lovely homes, most of them surrounding charming San Marco Square. Visitors enjoy the collection of shops and restaurants housed in quaint, 1920's Mediterranean revival buildings. Seasonal tours available.
