7. Silverbow Bakery and Restaurant

DOWNTOWN.   Alaska's oldest bakery is located in Juneau's Silverbow building—there has been an operating bakery in this location since the 1890s. Stop here for a breakfast of fresh bagels – try the spinach, pesto, cinnamon raisin, or poppyseed. The artisanal breads make wonderful sandwiches, and this spot is packed with lunchtime munchers (soups and salads provide low carb alternatives).
