3. Kalamazoo Air Zoo

KALAMAZOO.   Featuring lions, tigers, and bears of a different variety, this museum has more than 70 vintage airplanes, ranging from a World War II-era Flying Tiger and a Gooney Bird to a replica of the Wright Flyer and an F-104 Starfighter. Aside from aircrafts on exhibit, the Zoo features flight simulators that allow visitors to experience their own virtual flights – a word to the wise: the state-of-the-art MaxFlight, a full motion simulator that twists and turns however the pilot directs it, is an experience not to be missed. Those inspired to take wing may book a sightseeing flight on the museum's "Tin Goose," weather permitting.   (© 10Best)

The zoo has something to see and do for the entire family. The flight simulators are exciting and wild. I highly recommend this venue to anyone visiting Kalamazoo. Buzz Rehe--Miami
