9. Kalamazoo Living History Show

The Buzz -- Started in 1976 to honor the Bicentennial, this unique event is the largest of its kind in the Midwest and brings in more than 10,000 visitors, including re-enactors representing the French and Indian and Civil Wars. The Living History Show also features presentations by noted American historians, exhibits focusing on pre-1890 artifacts, and contests that allow participants to show off their finest historical fashions.
