1. Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra

The Buzz -- The Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra offers scores of top-notch performances each year in venues across town, including WMU's Miller Auditorium, Chenery Auditorium at the crossing of Vine and Westnedge, The Light Fine Arts Center and the Epic Center. KSO was founded in the 1920s by Leta G. Snow and has grown from a 25-member group to what is now Michigan's third largest orchestra. Their summer concert series is one of the season's most anticipated events.
