KALAMAZOO.   Bin 359, the casual in-house wine bar at the trendy Epic Bistro, features an open-plan kitchen and delicious wood-fired pizzas topped with the likes of creamed spinach, roasted red peppers, basil pesto, roma tomatoes, caramelized shallots, truffle oil, and Italian sausage. The wine selection, though, is the true star, featuring 20 or so premium wines available by the glass and a reserve list boasting some 150 selections. In addition, patrons may opt for an expertly mixed cocktail, a micro-brew, or an imported draft beer.   (© 10Best)

Great food but worst service ever
This place could be great, as the food is always awsume. But I have been in twice now and the service is some of the worst service I have ever, every had, This last time it took 20 minutes for the waitress to even approach this our table. At that time she didn't bring menus, didn't bring water and didn't know the drink special very well. What makes this truely sad is there where only three other tables seated in her area and she was not more then 6 ft from us the whole 20 minutes we waited. We put in a drink orders and it took another 8 minutes before she brought one drink and still forgot menus. Then is only took 5 more minutes to get bread, second drink (again we where seat close to bar area and could see the bartender, not that busy so no clue why drink took so long. And we asked for water and by the time she was back with water we placed the order. So we are looking at 40 minutes just to get the order in. At the hour mark I was ready to just leave but as I was gathering my purse the food arrived. It was great but waitress never stopped by to see how it was and I was again going to give up on waiting for the bill, I figured what we spent and was pulling cash when waitress finally arrifved with bill. I know the timing of all this because we had a play to attend right there at the epic, and we barely made it on time. Silly me thinking an 1 1/2 was plenty of time for a meal.

I have yet to find a better restaurant in the Kalamazoo area. Being from Chicago I have very high standards and this is the only dining experience that met my expectations.
