1. Arie's London Grill: Singapore

I frequent Arie's a fair amount and was dismayed recently when I visited with a friend for lunch. It was toward the end of the lunch hour and there were only 2-3 tables of guests there. Three men came in and were told they could smoke cigars (they sat in the back section--we were in the middle section, closest to them). I thought this was a no-cigar establishment! I think just because there were so few people in the restaurant, the wait staff told them they could smoke cigars. I was offended, as was my friend. We stayed long enough to finish our drinks and then left. Please, No Cigars should mean no cigars. They are very noxious--and worse than cigarettes!
