4. Blue Room

If you enjoy jazz, but don't want that cloud of smoke hanging over your head all night, head out to The Blue Room. There are genuine jazz artifacts right there in the bar from artists that started their careers in KC. Located in KC's historic 18th and Vine neighborhood, The Blue Room is adjacent to the jazz museum and the negro baseball league museum.
