GARMENT DISTRICT.   This aptly-named nightspot has been one of KC's favorite watering holes since the 1950s. Its nostalgic decor has changed little in two generations, giving the place a familiar charm. An amiable staff caters to your every need, quick to offer opinions on the many sandwiches, soups, and salads available, or slinging any poison you can dream up. The bar also sports a few televisions, which are usually tuned to a game of some kind.
