DOWNTOWN – RIVER MARKET.   With one bite of this restaurant's signature seafood dishes and cream sauces, you'll be transported directly to southern France. The eatery's moniker is a tongue-in-cheek reference to "The Crazy Frenchman" chef-owner, who hails from Marseille. His culinary skills are evidenced in pan-seared pheasant, crispy duck breast with honey lavender sauce, pan-seared diver scallops with seaweed salad, and sauteed Chilean sea bass with a smoked bacon-tomato compote. Cute but not so great Inside the ambiance is great. Outside you get a beautiful view of a rundown parking lot. Owner seems pleasant, servers not so much. I got some kind entree that was nothing but fish mashed in potatoes with a few toast points that didnt cover the gob of white mush I was served... dont know if ill be back anytime soon...
