5. Kauai Pow Wow

The Buzz -- Meant to educate as well as entertain, Kauai Pow Wow proudly showcases Native American customs and culture. Highlights of the free event include drumming, dancing, arts and crafts, food booths, and musical performances. Mainland performers often grace the pow wow with their presence and bring a breath of fresh air to the proceedings. Unique among Kauai festivals for its different cultural perspective, the pow wow welcomes all and is a great weekend outing for families.
