6. Restaurant Kintaro

Can I just say Yummy, best sushi I've ever had. You must have the Bali Hi Bomb, trust me it was a Bomb it the good way that my kids use the word. The service was only fair, but they were really busy. I would make a reservation if I was going again, it was a bit of a wait.

Since they expanded their facility a few years ago, the service, food qualtiy, and overall atmosphere of the restaurant has gone downhill. Their success has been their undoing. They have not expanded the number of tempin tables so, even with a reservation, you get stuck with standard table seating, where the service is poor, the food is cold, and the quality of the beef is aweful. Suggestions to the management were answered as "I wouldn't blame you if you went somewhere else"

The food here is Awesome! Don't miss out on their fried rice. The sushi is the best I have had & larger than usual portions. The service has always been friendly, warm and timely. We NEVER miss this stop when we are in Kauai. Sometimes, it's the reason we go back!
