5. Duane's Ono Char-Burger

What a dump
Ono-Char, the worst place in the world to get a burger, never I repeat never go there do not belive the travel guides, or the locals this place has the worst burgers in the world, the only reason they have sauses is to cover of the taste of the incredibly terrible burgers they serve. We were there, they were gray and about 1/4 inch thick my wife bit into two peices of bone and finally we threw them all away. This is the worst place in the world much less Kauai to get a burger. Do not waste your money.

4 stars for Kauai - a bit expensive for the size of the burgers, but you get used to the cost-value ratio in Hawai'i. Don't expect strong flavors. The Bleu Cheese barely perceptible. The Marrionberry shake has just a light touch of flavor - the vanilla almost overwhelms it. Chocolate shake is a nice flavor. Good fries. Drive a mile south to beautiful, quiet Anahole beach and enjoy. Typical price for 2 burgers, 2 shakes and 1 fries: $27.

This is perhaps the biggest hype and biggest disappointment in eating I have ever had. The food was terrible, the service is terrible- we waited 45 minutes for a burger- and itwas one of the worst I have ever had- PLEASE forget about this place!!!!!!!!!
