6. Kelly's Caribbean Bar, Grill and Brewery

WAS McGillis ... not anymore ...
This was Kelly McGillis's restaurant but she's quoted in an interview in 2006 that she "has nothing to do with that restaurant at all" - apparently since 2002 or 2003. We loved it back in the late ninety's - best conch fritters and tequila sunset - perfect way to watch the afternoon slide away. But recently, it's just not as good - maybe I long for the old days and hold that against the current ownership, but what they've changed, has not been for the better, IMO.

Kelly's is by far one of the best restaurants on the island. We have been many times and have enjoyed their differnt brewery selections as well as their delicious lunch and dinner selections. Our favorites are the coconut shrimp and seafood saute'. The service is excellent and the surroundings very Key West ... everyone you come in contact with has a smile on their face and is sincerely happy that you are there! By the way, they also have a very substantial wine list. All of this is to be had for a very reasonble price.
