Turtle hunting and processing was an early Key West industry and this restaurant's location and theme pay homage to that history. Turtles aren't on the menu but virtually every other swimming creature is. A raw bar features clams, shrimp and oysters. Fried calamari, Creole lobster rolls, conch sandwiches and seafood enchiladas are other taste treats. This is a great family spot thanks to the entertaining menu and wildlife displays.

We come to Key West at least once a year. We always make sure we eat once or twice at Turtle Kraals. Great food.

A very large bar with super-friendly help. Great on the half shell oysters, shrimp and other goodies. Big beer selection and they have a museum about turtles just outside the main building--very informative.
