Night Heron Park

KIAWAH ISLAND. The locus of much leisure activity on the island, this 21-acre park offers a 25-meter pool and a kids' pool for folks who don't want to deal with sand (although the ocean is easily accessible, too). A soccer field, playground, volleyball and basketball courts, and game room help disperse young energy, and nature trails give reason to make a circuit and check out the island's beautiful scenery. A nature center also offers plenty of youth-oriented programs. Kiawah Island Golf Resort guests receive complimentary passes; other visitors may purchase daily or weekly passes.
