Ocean Course – Kiawah Island

Aptly named, this tough, well-known course features scenic views of the Atlantic Ocean from every hole. Fairways are moderately wide, primarily because there's no rough on the course. With water everywhere, and even an island green, keeping the ball straight is a plus. Greens change in size from hole to hole but are well manicured and contain a number of subtle breaks. Designed by Pete Dye, the course gained lasting fame after hosting the 1991 Ryder Cup and the 1997 World Cup. Kiawah's must-play course. 7,308 yards, par 72.
