Tea time anyone? Mezzanine Tea Room offers an extraordinary spot for lunch in the middle of an ordinary day. The primarily feminine clientele enjoys a menu that changes daily but usually includes quiches, muffins and tea sandwiches. A colorful mural graces the walls, and delicate china sets adorn the tables. Reservations suggested as this place fills up quickly.

BAD!!!!!
We were with a party of eight so we ordered two quiches the day before. When we arrived at the resturant the owner came over and explained to us that her oven had broken down so she had made our quiche at her house and she would just be fifteen minutes to run home and pick it up. We understood and did not have a problem with it. When she finally made it back, a little over thirty minutes later she sent the server over to tell us that there would be no quiche today because her husband forgot to turn on the oven. We were a bit aggravated but decided to stay and order. Some ordered a turkey wrap, some an egg salad sandwich and others a chicken salad sandwich along with a kids grilled cheese. After the server took our order he came back and said that he only had enough chicken salad for a couple people and that the others would have to change their order to something else. They had made us wait so long that they ran out of food. The order was changed and we finally got our food after waiting over an hour. When we were finished the server asked if we would like a peice of pie for dessert. We asked if the pie would be complimentary because of all of our troubles, he asked the owner and she said no. We did not get dessert and when he finally gave us our bill, not only did they not discount it, he let us know that there was already a gratuity added to the bill. The average bill for each adult was $13.50 and the childs grilled cheese and stale chips was $12.00. The owner of the business never once came out to explain what happened or offer any type of apology, she sent the server out to handle it. When it was all said and done we were there over two hours.
