2. Baker – Peters Jazz Club

I rate the ambiance low because it was winter and my party was seated under a tent. The live music was nice, but the bartended kept closing the doors to where they were playing, so our entertainment was muted. The food was OK, although because I ordered a well-done steak I was told it delayed our order from arriving in a timely fashion. And the final bill was very high and we were over-charged. Quite a disappointing place considering what we spent.

Best place to order a steak in Knoxville, hands down. It's not cheap, but you get your money's worth. The service there has always been superior. Food always consistent. Also BPJC has arguably the best happy hour in town with half off all martinis... where else can you order a grey goose martini for 3.50?
