When you crave a great steak, there's no place like Ye Olde Steak House. They've been selling their sizzling sensations for more than thirty-five years. Whether you choose rare, medium, or well done, the food is consistently cooked the way you like with very little variance. After all, when you've been cooking the best steaks this long, it's hard to miss. The steakhouse also serves sides of potatoes and onions, homemade wheat bread, and homemade dressings to top your salad. Diners can bring their own wine. The decor is simple, and the dining is a sure thing.   (© 10Best)

This place is a shell of what it used to be. Poor quality of meat terribly prepared. Package this with the price and I recommend you stay away from this place. What once was a consistent great steak worth every penny has sadly become a giant waste.

My husband is a long-time fan of Ye Olde, and I'd only been once before, in a different location while they were remodeling from a fire. 3 items about our most recent visit: 1) Prices on the menu are at least $4 per entreé higher than what is listed on their website; they need to either change their website or their menus to match. 2) Once I discovered my steak was not cooked the way I asked, the OWNER was unapologetic and did not concede to even a discount on my meal. 3) As canoe86 put it, the food was overrated and something I could have cooked better at home and DEFinitely not worth $25.00 a head. Overall, I wouldn't waste my money here. I've gotten better service and food at Logan's or Texas Roadhouse.... Heck, even McDonald's!

Two words, overrated and expensive. Online reviews were good so tried Ye Olde Steak House. The steak was high quality, but nothing special when it came to preparation. Food poorly prepared and cheap. Grilled shrimp was slimy. Grilled mushrooms were canned mushrooms with a bit of garlic and butter. Fried potatoes were mushy and poorly prepared. In a nutshell, the sides could have been prepared at home by a novice cook. Rolls were not homemade nor the dressings. I think this place is skating by on a long ago reputation. We spent over $120 on 2 adults and 3 kids on a meal I would have been disgusted with at any establishment charging a fraction of this place.
