6. Shanghai Restaurant

If you like high quality Shanghainese food then this this one of the best you can find outside Shanghai. His xiao long bao (soup filled dumplings) whether with pork, chicken(advance order) or with crab roe is outstanding. Other great dishes are the Pork with pine nuts, Mandarin fish cooked with rice wine (a Ningbo speciality), Smoked Duck. For vegetables try his Tientsin cabbage with Yunnan ham. And for starters you MUST have his chicken pie biscuits and either drunken pigeon(advance order) or drunken chicken. Washed down with a great Pinot this can be quite unbeatable.
