The Buzz -- The Loggers, who enjoyed their inaugural season in 2003, are part of the Northwoods League, an amateur summer baseball league with teams in Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota. The league provides collegiate players a chance to hone their skills on the diamond against top-quality competition (like the Cape Cod League). The season runs from June to August, offering local folks no better way to spend a summer Sunday than with an afternoon game at the old ballpark.
