DOWNTOWN.   Keep your eyes peeled, or you may pass by what many regard as La Crosse's top live music venue. At first glance, the place may seem a bit sketchy, maybe even a little dingy, wedged as it is between a corner pool hall and a tattoo parlor. Set aside your skepticism, though, pay the cover (if they have one), and get ready for a rocking show. Inside, once your eyes adjust to the dim lighting, you'll find paneled walls littered with beer mirrors and the like – no classical art here, just good times and a friendly scene. Been here many times to watch local bands perform. I lost my glasses on the dance floor and every body stopped until I found them. Very good place for live music.
