6. Piggy's of La Crosse

Had a group of 14 in December for a celebration. Service was lousy, food was poor . Couldn't get them to even open the champagne bottles. We had 2 waiters and one disapeared altogether just when food was coming out. Really disapointed. Embarrased by the quality and service because I was hosting the dinner, and felt like a chump with a $1500 bill only because of the lousy product recieved. Of course with large groups they add on the service charge so why give good service? Hosted a similar dinner 7 months earlier and they did a super job, so I was disapointed. PS- Contrary to previous review, there is no river view, they moved off the river some time ago.

Bring your appetite to this fine establishment! Great location ON the Mississippi River. Ask for the Riverview....great dining view. The food is above average. Excellent meats.

Too expensive for the semi-decent food that you get. Nothing that special about it.
