5. Old Country Cheese

CASHTON.   No visit to Wisconsin would be complete without some of the state's famous cheese. At Old Country, delicious dairy products are made with fresh milk from nearby Amish farms – one of the only cheese-producers in the country able to make such a claim – and visitors watch as blocks of sharp cheddar, muenster, colby jack, and pepper jack are made from scratch. In addition to bulk and gift boxes of cheese, Old Country's gift shop also carries Amish craft items, maple syrup, and handmade candy.   (© 10Best)
