DOWNTOWN.   This quintessential corner dive has been a favorite with La Crosse's legal crowd since the '30s, and its big, oval bar frequently serves as a round table of sorts for topics ranging from the Green Bay Packers to local politics. Walls sport an eclectic showcase of Americana, from cast-metal cars and beer steins to Marilyn Monroe memorabilia and a Dolly Madison ice cream clock that's always running 15-20 minutes fast. Lighting in Del's is at a premium, leaking either from the many neon beer signs or from the unique wagon-wheel fixture hanging over the bar.   (© 10Best)

Del's is fantastic if you just want to hang out and enjoy yourself in a comfortable atmosphere.
