ÎLE-AUX-COUDRES. With dual soaring spires, the Île-aux-Coudres' historic Saint-Louis Church dates from the latter half of the 19th century. The church's interior and exterior have remained virtually unchanged since its construction and, inside, you'll find examples of sculptor François Baillairgé handiwork – two intricate, hand-carved statues of Saints Flavian and Louis. Visitors will also want to walk about 200 yards northeast and visit one of the church's original stone processional chapels, which dates from the 1830s.
