1. Camping Chutes Fraser

RIVIÈRE-MALBAIE.   This enchanting campground, which opened in 1962, is one of the oldest such parks in the Charlevoix region. Of course, the highlight of the park is the Comporté River and its 98-foot cascade – the Chutes Fraser. Other family-friendly activities located at the park include trout fishing (by permit only), hiking trails, wild berry picking and swimming. From mid-May until mid-October, the campground is open, featuring more than 280 sites. Cottage rental is also available.   (© 10Best)
