5. Domaine Charlevoix

BAIE-ST-PAUL.   Open from early June until mid-October, this worthwhile nature center is a great place to visit, especially if fun in the great outdoors is on your agenda. The center features several trails leading to belvederes that overlook the icy-blue Saint Lawrence River, area waterfalls and tranquil streams. On clear days, the breathtaking panorama from the Terrasse Félix-Antoine-Savard stretches from Petite Rivière-Saint-Francois east to Les Éboulements. The Domaine Charlevoix boasts picnic facilities, bicycle paths, and designated swimming areas, as well as a restaurant and the enchanting Maison de Thé, a tea house located in the middle of the woods.   (© 10Best)
