LA MALBAIE.   The area's oldest course (circa 1876), Murray Bay offers hole after hole of open fairways. A good iron game is essential here; otherwise, you'll need a backup plan. Don't let hole two, the course's signature hole, surprise you; it may not look like much, but hitting from an elevated tee down to a quick green often gets people into trouble. As you make your way around the course, take time to appreciate the beautiful layout and surrounding mountains. The back nine especially boasts a number of picturesque, rolling holes – just try not to lose your focus.   (© 10Best)
