ÎLE-AUX-COUDRES.   There are few places to dine on the Île-aux-Coudres, but this inviting hotel (circa 1930) offers one of the best options. Indeed, the elegant dining room's vaulted glass ceiling and picture windows create an airy, almost surreal dining experience, no matter what the season. Try and land a table overlooking the fountain and pool in the rear garden. Dine on expertly prepared Charlevoix favorites, from grilled salmon and caribou to veal and rabbit, all served will local vegetables.
