WEST LAFAYETTE.   Convenient to Purdue and an easy student fave when good, old-fashioned Italian fare is in order, Monical's serves up everything from hand-tossed pizzas to hearty pasta dishes. Using the same thin-crust recipe that the original Monical's made famous in the early '60s, the kitchen prides itself on creating delicious pies topped with the likes of minced garlic, olives, spinach, and hot Italian peppers. 	"Polonius" more than a month ago
My family relocated here this summer and the first thing we looked for was quality. Monical's is not it. Their menu is shockingly limited for a pizza place, and the pie is nothing to shout about. The stores we've seen have been clean, however, and the price isn't bad, considering. But if you are looking for quality, not price, look elsewhere.
