8. Potter Park Zoo

I came in from Erie PA to visit a cousin and attend a wedding. We stayed for a few days to site see with our children and we went to the Potter Park zoo. We had a handicap adult with us who required a $5 wheel chair rental. The wheel fell off the chair due to the uneven pathway. We had to leave our handicap person and go get another to get her back to the car. In addition, we were diappointed w/the animals displays being over grown with weeds and trees that they were not visable. Admission for out of state visitors is over two times the amount for residents and parking is more as well. Don't Michigan people want tourists?
