2. Archives Book Shop

EAST LANSING.   A favorite among the area's more erudite collectors, this cozy antiquarian bookshop carries classic first editions from the likes of Hemingway, Faulkner, and Bellow, as well as rare 16th century texts, Dickens classics, and a handful of documents and papers signed by historical figures. Located just a short walk from the MSU campus, Archives offers a friendly atmosphere, and patrons are welcome to peruse the shelves as long as they like.   (© 10Best)
