WILLIAMSTON.
Tiny Williamston, located less than 15 miles east of Lansing, is a haven for antique collectors, especially those who cherish shopping in a small town atmosphere. This historic town is nestled on the banks of the Red Cedar River and was first settled in 1834 by Joseph Putnam. Today, the town's turn-of-century charm, friendly boutiques, and 200-plus antique dealers attract a fair amount of traffic, giving the old town new life. Just south of town, the Antiques Market of Williamston offers 75 dealers and is open every day of the week.
