We were planning a 21st Birthday Party for our little sister, along with 15 other people, who were all flying in from different areas. We called Rain Night Club inside the Palms and spoke to Table Reservations, on July 4th, 2008 to reserve a sky box for August 30th, 2008.
We sent in all required information. We were told that it would be a 5 bottle min. for the sky box, and we were completely fine with it!
We received a confirmation email stating everything is set and as long as we show up that night by 11pm, our credit card wouldn't be charged a no show.
So here we are less than a week away from the event, and I email them to confirm our table and make sure everything is set. I receive an email back from her stating that due to a new DJ residency, "A MAJOR EVENT", so they say, we are now told that in order to still keep our reservation our bottle minimum would go up to 6 bottles, and we would have to pay $1500.00 for space fee.
What are you kidding me?? She never once emailed me, or let alone should have called me! It took for me to confirm and make sure everything was still good on our reservation, to be told anything about this.
What is the point in making a reservation?? Like I said we made our reservation July 4th, and this event wasn't even planned for and scheduled until July 29th, 2008.
All the reservation reps could tell me was that they are trying to work with management, and all management could say was too bad!
VERY BAD SERVICE!!
If your planning on reserving a table at a Las Vegas hot spot.. THAT IS DEFINATELY NOT THE PLACE TO DO IT!!
ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS HOW MUCH MONEY YOU ARE WILLING TO FORK OUT FOR THEIR MISTAKES!!! THEY DO NOT HONOR RESERVATIONS, AND WATCH OUT THEY DO REQUIRE A CREDIT CARD TO MAKE THE SO-CALLED RESERVATION!!
