The atmosphere is great but the food was WAY overpriced and the service was poor.

Everything about our dining experience was superb. Every bite of the fish and vegetables was a mouth savoring treat. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great and the presentation by the waiter where he boned the fish in front of us and placed the food on our plates in front of us was as excellently mastered as in any European restaurant. The bill was high but well worth it for a special occasion. I think I must have eaten at a different restaurant from the other reviewer because my experience could not have been more different.

Obviously most guidebooks and restaurant reviewers have been taken in by the promise of 'fresh seafood flown in daily from the Mediterranean' - as if that must signify great cooking as well. After our party of eight spent close to $2,000 on a dinner that could be best described as pedestrian bordering on tasteless, I felt compelled to write this review. Spend your money elsewhere. This is truly an overpriced, under-chefed marketing ploy dressed up like fine dining.
