WEST LAS VEGAS. For the ultimate in extravagance – and the ultimate view – save up for the ultra-luxurious Cherry Penthouse Suite at Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa. Floor-to-ceiling windows and a sizeable balcony allow you to see both the Strip (at a distance) and the majestic Red Rock mountains. Thankfully, those on a budget can still enjoy a dazzling vantage point from most any room – just request a mountain view.
THE STRIP. If you can't make it to the real Eiffel Tower, this replica in Vegas is a perfect substitute. And on its eleventh floor, high above the Strip, is the Eiffel Tower Restaurant, a romantic restaurant featuring fine French cuisine. From the dining room, you have a superb view of the Strip, and you can also see the Bellagio fountain as it shows off across the street.
THE STRIP. One of the most exclusive clubs in Vegas, the Foundation Room is normally members-only – but on Monday nights, its doors are open to non-members. You can only get there via a private elevator, and you must be dressed to impress. Once you've reached the 43rd floor where the club is located, you can enjoy one of the most breathtaking views in the city.
WEST OF THE STRIP. Fifty-five floors above the ground, ghostbar offers a truly incredible experience. No other venue in the city boasts the unique scenery that you can find here. Inside the club, huge windows line the walls, providing a glimpse of the glittering city as backdrop. But walk out onto the open-air balcony, and a 360-degree view of the cityscape unfolds before you, even more mesmerizing and astounding!
THE STRIP. Located at the heart of the Strip, the Bellagio is known for luxurious accommodations, and while you can get a decent visual show from nearly any room, you'll want to request a Lake View room for the best perspective. These rooms are situated in the front of the hotel, in clear view of Lake Bellagio and its famous fountain show.
HENDERSON. The food at Marssa – Asian and Pacific Rim – is outstanding, but the view of beautiful Lake Las Vegas definitely competes for attention. The soft, candlelit ambiance indoors is a wonderful complement to the lake's calm waters and the surrounding mountain peaks. There isn't a more tranquil place to enjoy a quiet dinner with the one you love.
WEST OF THE STRIP. This 1600-square-foot suite is one of the Rio's nicest – a formal dining room, wet bar, jacuzzi tub, and sound system are added incentive. The luxury comes with a hefty price tag, but you'll enjoy a better vantage point than from any other room. From the suite's floor-to-ceiling windows, you'll get a spectacular 180-degree view of the sparkling Strip and the Eastern Vegas valley.
MOUNT CHARLESTON. Who says that spectacular views of Vegas have to consist of neon lights? The picturesque mountain scenery that graces cabins at Mount Charleston Lodge rivals any postcard. The golden sun shimmering through pine trees, the glow of sunrise around majestic, snow-capped mountains – you're up close and personal with the best nature has to offer when you stay here.
DOWNTOWN. You could always go to the Stratosphere observation deck to enjoy the view – but it's so much better at Top of the World! Situated at the very pinnacle of the Stratosphere (an astounding 800 feet in the air!), this gourmet restaurant actually revolves, allowing you to see the entire city in all directions if you sit there long enough.
THE STRIP. You can't go wrong with any of the suites at Mandalay Bay, but for an unsurpassed view of the city, try the V Suites. Vast floor-to-ceiling windows allow you to see far and wide, and you can choose a Strip, beach and pool, or mountain vista. (Suites are on the hotel's uppermost floors, making window-peeping a non-issue). You know the spot. The hotel that offers great views of the city skyline or lovely vistas of the countryside. Or maybe you don't. Either way, you will now. We'll share the numbers of guest rooms where you can take in the most amazing panoramas. We'll tell you about the nightclub with a fabulous scenic terrace, and we'll let you in on the hotel restaurant that boasts its own manicured garden courtyard. Hotel stays aren't just about the bed or the toiletries, after all.
