Golden Acre Park encompasses nearly 137 acres of scenic woods, gardens, and bodies of water. It was originally opened as an amusement park in 1932, but the games and other amusement facilities are no longer there. There is, however, a vegetable garden, pond, fountain, limestone rock garden, cherry orchard, and courtyard. There is a Bakery Coffee House serving snacks and hot meals. In addition, the park contains picnic tables. (© 10Best) More Details for Golden Acre ParkHours: Daily all year round. Cafe: Summer Mon-Fri 10.30am-4.30pm, Sat & Sun 10.30am-5.00pm.
