5. No3 York Place

This very swank restaurant has hospitable service and even has a doorman waiting to greet you. It was thoroughly refurbished in 2006 following No3's take-over from Gueller. The decor is classic, with white linens and leather in the lounge, but the food is exceptional. The menu includes items such as steamed snail farci with asparagus tagliatelle and morels and cappuccino of potato with truffled leeks and gnocchi. Reservations recommended.   (© 10Best)
