7. Piazza by Anthony

Leeds' well-known chef Anthony Flinn, who runs the prestigious Anthony's Restaurant in the city, has opened a new food emporium in one of Leeds' most historic landmarks, the Corn Exchange. The Piazza by Anthony was opened in November 2008 and contains a bar, cafĂ©, shops, a patisserie, a chocolate shop and even a cheese and ham shop as well as a full brasserie restaurant. The brasserie is located in the open central area of the Corn Exchange, covered by a glazed dome-shaped ceiling. Go for brunch, lunch, afternoon tea or dinner and choose from an impressively wide menu. If you're after something lighter, pop into The CafĂ© in the archway cellars, which serves sandwiches, salads, soups and light snacks and has free wireless internet access.   (© 10Best)
