1. Equus Run Vineyards

In the land of bourbons and thoroughbreds, you might not expect to find a local vineyard. Equus Run dispels that notion and enlightens visitors about wine-making in central Kentucky. Occupying 35 acres of pastoral land, the winery invites folks to wander the grounds, have a picnic, gather for a wine-tasting, and browse the gift shop for souvenirs and for home-grown vintages.
