HARRODSBURG. In its early days, this inn (built in 1845) was a school for girls. In 1917, it was converted into the Beaumont and is now being run by the fourth generation of the same family. Lovingly furnished in Victorian style, individual rooms include air-conditioning, cable TV, phone, and private bath. A full breakfast is served to guests, who also have use of an outdoor pool, tennis courts, and the inn's public areas. Lexington's airport is 35 miles away.
